The world today is lonely!

The world today is lonely! World has globalized but communications & interactions have fallen apart. Humans have built technologies to the next level but human interactions towards each other are indeed going backwards. There was a time when people talked to each other with ease; today individual’s interactions are between them, their smart phones & social networking sites.

We might be having lots of friends on Facebook, LinkedIn, and WhatsApp but how many do we really interact with like we used to, before such technologies is a question? Today communications are more with technology & not with humans. Earlier everybody used to ask address in person, interaction was more; today we google search. Where has communication lost? Have you ever thought of giving a time to your child without an IPad? Have you spend time with your family & friends without smart phones? Even children today prefer playing on IPad & smart phones rather than playing with parents or in the parks. Its weird today, friends meet up in group but are busy on individual’s smart phones. Families eat together but everyone is busy in WhatsApp. Where has true relations dispersed. Earlier there were no locks to hide in life, people were more open, and today there is a lock in everything from mails to smart phones to WhatsApp to personal life. Is it like we are living a life of a prisoner? Hiding has become a part of our routine. Obsession has taken over us, self-obsession. We can wait to see people online but don’t bother to start interactions, weird but truth. Everyone shows they are not lonely but the fact is we actually are, we keep our self so engrossed to today’s technologies that has foreseen what it has done to us. Have you seen the real world, its nature & experienced the beauty since the inception of such technologies, have you been & spend quality time with people you loved, the real time? Ask yourself, are you living a life as a human or technology has overpowered on everything upon us?

Our intellectuals are depriving, angers are rising, and patience is diminishing. Statistics proves we today are becoming “narrow minded” than what we earlier were; “Broad minded”. We all are a part of it. Think what we have done to ourselves where we find loneliness to ourselves more comforting with such technologies than loneliness without dear ones. Are we humans or we people driven by such technologies?
