Humanity At Risk- A Must Read
Today after my office, I was going to Hypercity next to Inorbit mall, Malad (W), Mumbai. I was walking on the footpath, crossed the Inorbit mall gate and saw an auto in the mid of one of the busiest (link-road) road in mumbai, the auto rickshaw wasn't moving.
A line of questions ran in my brain for answers:
• Why is he (the auto rickshaw) not moving?
• That auto rickshaw is creating more traffic & trouble for other people?
• Is something wrong, if it is than why aren't there no helping hands for that poor rickshaw wala?
A steady step towards him gave all the answers to my questions.
His auto tyre was punchered and was unable to move the rickshaw to the road-side. Moreover there were other rickshaw wallas standing nearby but nobody came for help.
I crossed the grill and went towards him for support.
My words to him brought confidence and smile on his face.
Our Chat
Me: “chalo mil ke road side tak dhakka lagate hai aur tyre change karte hai”.
Rickshaw driver: “Thank you sir”.
We together pushed an auto to the corner.
He was till now tired. He breathed for a minute and I waited.
Rickshaw Driver: “Thank you Sir”.
Me: “Thank you mat boliye, chaliye tyre change karte hai”.
Rickshaw Driver: “Ji”.
Me: “Bataiye kya karna hai”?
Rickshaw Driver: “Auto ko side se uthana padega par stick hold nahi kar paygi”.
Me: “Mein auto side se uthata hun aur aap stick adjust karo baaki mein balance aur auto hold karta hun aur aap fatafat tyre change karna”.
Result
We both cleared the traffic by pushing the auto to the road side.
A small help brought a smile on his face.
He was filled with tears of emotions & love.
He hugged me.
He at last said: “Bhaisahab mein sabki help karta hun, par meri madad karne koi nahi aata”.
Me: “Aisa nahi hai aapne logo ki madad ki hai isiliye mein shayad kisi tarah aapke madad ke liye aaya aur aage bhi aap logo ki madad karna ye jaante huye bhi ki koi aapki madda nahi karta, kyunki woh aaj madad nahi karega par shayad kal unki soch badle”.
Rickshaw Driver: “Aap kaha ja rahe hai? Chaliye mein aapko drop kar deta hun”.
Me: “Maine aapko uske liye madad nahi ki, aap bus kisi zarurat-man ki madab karna, Bye”.
Conclusion
I didn’t do anything heroic, nor I have recorded to seek attraction, I am sharing this becoz what if each one of us start helping each other, I just did what every individual should do when others need help. Every person are same, what if a rich persons car would have been punchered? Than everybody would have come to help him/her.
Why such a discrimination? We in this era seek new India, better India but we do not want to change from within is a question everybody should ask themselves?
“Help others you will feel good and would be proud of yourself”!
